GDA Seeks Funding Options For Ghaziabad Metro Expansion; Integration With RRTS At Sahibabad Likely

The Uttar Pradesh government has rejected a request from the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) for 50% state funding for two proposed metro extensions in Ghaziabad. The government cited that the maximum state funding share for other metro projects in Uttar Pradesh is 27%.
