Garage in Millersville total loss after fire; crews save house

MILLERSVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) - Firefighters battled a garage fire around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 2.
According to Millersville Fire Chief Ray Werner, the garage was fully engulfed when the firefighters arrived.
He said they were able to extinguish the fire at the house and then moved to the garage.
The garage was a total loss, including a car and a truck that were inside the building.
Officials said before the fire, someone was welding inside the garage, they left to eat dinner and then noticed the garage was on fire.
