Bombardier celebrated the grand opening of the new $100 million Miami Opa-Locka Service Center on Oct. 31 at a ceremony attended by Bombardier and government officials, members of Bombardier's Board of Directors, media and other guests. The facility employs 125 today, which will increase to 175 in November. It plans to employ about 300 in the next year or so, including 225 technicians, officials say.
