GALION - Police are still searching for the person who shot into a Galion home early Tuesday morning.
The shooting was reported to the Galion Police Department at 12:28 a.m. when neighbors said they heard four gunshots in the 300 block of Cherry Street, according to a news release from Matt Echelberry, communications director for the city of Galion.
A 46-year-old person was in the home at the time of the shooting, according to Galion Police Chief Marc Rodriguez.
At the scene, officers found four holes on the side of the Cherry Street house.
One bullet was recovered, which was lodged in an interior door of the same house. A casing was found in the alley next to the home.
