Free tax assistance available until April 15 at Massena Community Center

MASSENA — As tax season continues, so does free tax preparation and electronic filing at the Massena Community Center, 61 Beach St.
The assistance is offered by the AARP Tax-Aide program, but is open to everyone and not just AARP members. It’s available from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays during tax season, until April 15.
The only exception is the week of April 5, when it will be available Tuesday and Wednesday so it doesn’t conflict with a vaccination clinic Monday.
AARP Tax-Aide Sheryl Campbell said the service is drop-off only, with masks required and social distancing with minimal contact.
