President Emmanuel Macron told Brazil Wednesday France was "at your side" as the country seeks to develop nuclear-powered submarines, but without announcing specific collaboration on nuclear propulsion technology that Brasilia has pushed for.Brazil is also planning to build its first nuclear-powered submarine, the Alvaro Alberto, which would make it the first country outside the five permanent members of the UN Security Council to do so.
