You know what is going to happen . Ill tell you. First week be all over the news every night. Second week guys who sell Cars Cant Sell cars. Cars arent coming off the ships. They get laid off. Third week, malls start closing down. Cant get the goods from china. Cant sell clothes and do this. Everything in the united states comes on a ship. They go out of business. Construction workers get laid off because the materials arent coming in. The steel is not coming in. The lumber is not coming in. They lose their job. Everybody is hating the longshoremen now because now they realize how important our jobs are. Harris he is not wrong about getting us our stuff and how critical a role they play. It also comes as inflation has been cooling but the concern here is that this strike could lead to higher prices yet again especially if it lasts a while. As far as the cost of it to the u. S. Economy, Jp Morgan has a high estimate at 4 1 2 to 5 Billion a day. Anderson economic group is putting the cost on the lower end but it is still 2. 1 billion in the first week and they say it is only going to get worse as the Supply Chains grind to a halt and products coming in arent able to get unloaded from ships. Some of the big companies that are reliant on these imports are companies like walmart, costco, i kia, The List Goes On. It will only get worse if this strike Goes On. Harris grady trimble. What i can tell you about the difference in the forces is they realize on a daily basis that they are surrounded by enemies directly on their border whether it be the tunnels that come through egypt. What comes across from gaza, whether it be what comes from the north in lebanon. They have a daily reminder of the enemy is on their border and it is just a matter of maybe 40, 50 miles for them to cut the country in half in many of those places. Thats a reality for fighters on the ground. Harris do you believe there was coordination between hezbollah and hamas on October 7th. Hezbollah began to hit israel very hard with more missiles on October 8th after the 7th attack. Do you think there was coordination between those two groups . I absolutely believe there was coordination and that israel was wise to not take the bait. They have been bombarded by israel for the last year. Moving people out of the north. Many refugees you could call them at this point. They wanted to focus on what was going on in gaza. They are moving on to addressing what has been taking place for this last year coming from the Lebanon Border coming into israel. This had to happen. In this i think everybody needs to ask themselves the question as they ask is this going to Escalator Lead to something bigger . If this was the united states of america and canada were lobbing rockets to michigan or cartels on the Southern Border were lobbing them into california or arizona. None of us would be asking if it will escalate. We would only be asking what capabilities we need to destroy that enemy.
