You have this investigation. You have the second Assassination Attempt which the federal authorities are investigating in florida on top of the state of florida investigating that. But, also, this week, you are hearing you heard reports that there has been an sexual Assault Accusation against the Secret Service from a staffer on Kamala Harris campaign. So certainly a very rough week for the Secret Service and A Lot of people have questions about their conduct in not just, i think during this first Assassination Attempt but really over the past year or so. Bret jason, obviously these investigation the first attempt, the second attempt. Still investigations what happened on January 6th. And remember all of these questions that republicans have had about security, et cetera, that they asked of the Fbi Director. Now this Concern Today got a little bit attention, take a listen first to chris wray. Im not going to get into where we have or not used confidential Human Sources. I can tell you that if you are asking if the violence at the capitol on January 6th was part of some operation orchestrated by fbi sources or agents, the answer is no. Do you have evidence of the number of confidential Human Sources that were operating on the Capitol Grounds on January 6th . Our report will include the information in that regard. Can you tell us today how many there were . Were there more than 100 . Im not in a position to say that. Bret, there are still some republicans who think that January 6th is a winning issue for Donald Trump this year. In november. I am not someone who believes thats the case. I dont think that thats a winning issue for trump. But, there are some people in congress who want to play that card and well see how it goes. With respect to this report in the senate, however, i agree with my panelists this is horrific. And what strikes me about it is that its the bipartisan report. Headed by gary peters, a senator from michigan, a democrat, democrats would have every Treason Sugar Coat this if they wanted to. They did not in this report. And i hope that result people in charge of security in washington. We need our president s current aspiring to be protected and the Security Failures here are just horrendous and some, you know, we are already a very deeply divided country. People are very mistrustful of those on the other side of the Aisle Heaven forbid one of these attempts is successful, we will be in a very bad state in this country. So, i hope that the people take the right lessons away from this in terms of those people in charge of protecting our politicians. I hear you.
