Jason we begin this Sunday Morning with just 58 days remaining until Election Day on November 5th which at least 25 states starting to send out mailin ballots this month. Former President Trump and Vice President harris are set to take a part in a president ial debate hosted by abc news Tuesday Night in the Battle Ground State of pennsylvania which is seen as a crucial, crucial state to winning the White House. Among the main topics expected to be covered, the state of the economy and immigration. Under the Bidenharris Administration, overall inflation is up over 19 while real wages are down nearly 2. The national debt is at 35. 3 trillion, and 7. 5 trillion in new debt added in less than 4 years. Meanwhile, over 8 Million migrants have been encountered illegally crossing the southern border under the Bidenharris Administration with merely 22 Million 2 Million having evaded apprehension and disappearing into the united states. And the White House has lost track of approximately 3 20,000 Unaccompanied Minors. While the continuing Border Crisis has cost taxpayers an estimated saw 0 with 150 Billion per year. Vice president Harris Policy changes are also expected to be under scrutiny at the debate Tuesday Night including no longer supporting medicare for all, Backing Funding for a Border Wall and Law Enforcement, supporting fracking and not pushing an electric Vehicle Mandate or mandatory Gun Buyback programs. Joining me now with a preview of Tuesdays Debate is former housing and urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben carson. Doctor, thanks so much for joining us. Youve been on the debate stage. Youve been there, youve been a candidate, you been there with Donald Trump. What do you thinks going to happen with this debate Tuesday Night, and what do each of the candidates need to do to be successful . I think its going to be one of the most consequential can debates ever because people will finally get a chance to hear from Kamala Harris what she believes. And all this business about flipflopping, you have to wonder if she has really flipflopped because she said that her values have not changed. So what kind of values are we talking about . If you know, values that as the d. A. In San Francisco led to a policy where people can go into stores and take 900 of stuff with little or no consequences or not deporting Drug Dealers who are resulting in the death the of american citizens or the kind of values that that allow you to kill babies right up until the time of birth . And maybe even beyond that time . Opposing legislation that would save babies that survive abortion attempts. You have to wonder about that. Values that lead you to mandate what kind of car people should drive, what kind of stoves they should have as opposed to letting free market forces. So what youre going to see in the debate is Donald Trump running on his past policies and Kamala Harris running away from her past policies. So it should make for a very, very interesting evening. Jason yeah. You kind of wonder, is Kamala Harris going to debate Kamala Harris . Because her policy on the core issues, major flipflops. And one of those things that i think is going to be at the forefront of a lot of Peoples Mind has to do with and youre a Doctor Medicare for all. Is she really, truly supporting the notion that she would get rid of private insurance for more than 100 Million americans and make sure that its a Governmentrun Health Care system . Because thats what she has advocated for. Well, she has advocated that in the past. Of course, she will probably try to run away from it. You know, interestingly enough, those who are students of history know that Vladimir Lenin said that Socialized Medicine is the linchpin for socialism. This is the way that you bring it n. When you have control of peoples health, you have control of them. And, you know, we spent we spend an enormous amount of money on Health Care in this country, more than any other country, can you imagine what you could do with that money in an efficient system . An efficient system that used Health Care Savings Accounts or something of that nature where there was real Accountability And Transparency . Those are the kinds of things that, obviously, need to be talked about and explored to the a much greater degree than we are now. But Socialized Medicine has only led to much poorer distribution of medicine everywhere its been try, and the same thing would happen in this country as well. Jason now, Vice President harris has been complicit in this open Border Policy which has led to millions of people flowing into the united states illegally. You were the former secretary of housing and urban development. Ive got to imagine that the pressure on the housing system, marley low Income Housing particularly low Income Housing by the millions, has affected the supply and command, has affected the price. People complain about the price of housing, but when you pour 8, 10 Million people into the system, guess what . Prices are probably going to go up, right . [laughter] no question about it. And recognize also that during the trump afford administration, Mortgage Rates were down below 3 . So people with Mortgage Rates of that level are not going to give up that house and put it on the market to try to move up to a 7 mortgage. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Plus, having so many people in the market for the few houses that are there just drives the inflationary spiral even hire. And even higher. And we must recognize that owning a home is a major component of the american dream, and were pushing that pivoter and further out of further and further out of reach for so many particularly young people. And we really need to start thinking about what can we do that works for all of the people. This really is the key. Its not about democrats and republicans, its about those who care about the people and who want a country that is of, for and by the people and to those who want a country that is the of, for and by the government. And it doesnt necessarily mean that the progressives are bad people, it just means they have a very different concept of what america should be. And it varies markedly from what our founders intended. And they have forgotten about our declaration of independence, our founding document, which tells us that our rights come from our. Creator our creator, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And the government should be there the facilitate that. Jason well, doctor, youve been on the forefront of these issue, youve been out will on the debate stage, youve been out there as a candidate yourself. Very quickly, a final guess on whats going to happen Tuesday Night. Well, i think Kamala Harris is going to to try to get under Donald Trumps skin. That as what the preparation is all about, how do you get under his skin. Also, you know, she needs to be told what her policies are, because she doesnt really mow what they are and nobody else does either. [laughter] Donald Trump doesnt have to prep because the truth is always the truth. You dont have to try to figure out what things will resonate with people, you just say who you are. Hes very transparent. And i think the people will appreciate. That so its going to be a jason yeah, i think wildly watched debate. Its going to be the fun. Jason yeah. I think authenticity wins the day in the hearts and minds of the american people. They always see that a with Donald Trump. Kamala harris . Maybe not so much. That. We have millions and millions of people pouring into our country, many from prisons and jails and mental institutions, and its turning out that migrant crime is far worse than any if crime that weve ever experienced. If you look at aurora, colorado, theyre taking over the place. They took over buildings in there. This is just the beginning. You havent seen anything yet. Jason thats former President Trump speaking at a News Conference on friday on the surge in Gang Activity involving venezuelan nationals across the united states. Senior Border Officials telling Fox News Griff jenkins not only is the venezuelan Street Gang a growing threat, but they are also a targeting them as a priority. Over the last three fiscal years under the Bidenharris Administration, Border Patrol ago agents have encountered, now get this, 400,000 single adults from venezuela illegally crossing the southern border. What are you seeing, hearing and feeling in your congressional district right there in texas on The Border . Whats happening . Well, my District Lines up to the mexican border here, and and so early in the Bidenharris Administration we Saw Hundreds Of Thousands of illegal immigrants pour through our border. And what that does is it clogs up our Health Care system, it takes our local Law Enforcement away from our communities because they have to support our Border Patrol agents. What that means is that in our local communities it puts american citizens at risk because our local Law Enforcement is supporting our Border Patrol. Mission, we have our farmers and ranchers who often have found dead bodies on their ranchland. In fact, i have counties that have had to purchase cold or storage units just to hold the bodies that are found on these ranch lands. And Guess Who pays for that . The local communities. If so the Bidenharris Lack of Border Policy has put great strain on our communities. Jason the numbers are absolutely stunning. One of the things that actually really, i mean, it really bothers me at my core is the idea that there are 3 20,000 or so Unaccompanied Minors in which this administration, the harris administration, has no idea where they are, what happened to em and what their Safety And Security situation is. What is going on with congress . If what can we do about this . Because that is such a national tragedy, of that many kids out there unaccounted for. This has been a topic that has been very important to house republicans, and we have held several hearings in regards to this issue. And youre absolutely right. As a mother myself of two children, i am hour pied to know that the horrified to know that the Bidenharris Administration has essentially lost these children. And these children are somewhere. And what were hearing when they are found, which there are several cases where hundreds of children have been found in cities like houston, texas, where by their accounts they were sex trafficked. And this is unacceptable. Under the biden administration where Day One they stopped infrastructure that was being built to the secure our border, it is unacceptable that crime has increased in is cities, it is unacceptable that children have been lost,s the unacceptable that drugs are flowing through our border and killing hundreds of thousands of americans in our communities. And, again, this is through failed Border Policy by the Bidenharris Administration. And thats why we must make a change in november and bring President Trump back. Jason yeah. To hear Vice President harris and to hear the democrats tell it, oh, boy, these migrants, theyre safer. Theyre just nicer people than americans are. But then you look at the statistics coming out of new York City and manhattan the, 75 of the people that theyre arresting are here illegally. And in queens, new york, its like 60 . And then you go to aurora, colorado, and you have a Sanctuary State that will not cooperate with the feds. So even the violent criminals are the ones they wont deport. Theyre the ones that they wont communicate with i. C. E. And let them know that they have so they can be dealt with seriously by the federal government. Well, were seeing gaslighting at its finest by democrats. Theyre Gaslighting Americans to believe that now heir suddenly for border theyre suddenly for Border Security and that everything is okay. And we even have states like colorado who, again, is a democratled state, Gaslighting Americans saying that the we nothings happening at this apartment complex. Dont look here. But americans have woken up. What theyre seeing is crime rising in their community. In fact, two out of three americans say there is a crisis when it comes to crime in communities. This is a perfect example, whats happened in colorado, of that risen crime under the Bidenharris Administration. Jason yeah. I think americas waking up to the idea that they were safe and protected under Donald Trump and not so much under Kamala Harris. And for Vice President harris to be running ads that shes supporting the Boarder Wall is just Border Wall is just such a joke. On Wednesday Attorney general Merrick Garland announced charges against two russian State Media employees for pushing propaganda and disinformation. While seizing more than 30 web domains. But its not just russia thats attempting to interfere. Research Company Graphica is warning china is running an operation called spamoflage which involves potion as american voters on Social Media posing as american voters on Social Media while iran are leading their own Disinformation Campaign according to the new york times. Its not just that the Department Of Justice is saying, oh, russia, russia, russia again. I dont know that i trust them because theyve spun this in such a way to push the voters in the past that these people are all for Donald Trump. And its just i dont know that i trust them. What about you . [laughter] youre asking me if i trust the Department Of Justice. I represent Donald Trump. Theres nobody whos been more persecuted in the last three and a half years in an attempt to interfere in the election, i assure you, jason. So, no, i think my answer is pretty clear. Lets talk about what they are doing. Its so obvious. So the story is now that the theres a criminal investigation about a 10 Million payment to two individuals who had no idea that they were being backed by a company that eventually allegedly had ties to russia . Okay. So in 2016 what happened . There was the russia, russia, russia hoax. The Media Peddled a story that we now know was funded by members of the dnc, their lawyers, Hillary Clinton was involved in all of this. We know that because she had to pay a fine for doing so. And it wasnt talked about after even though we had a damning durham report, even though We Saw the Muller Investigation and wasted so much taxpayer collars. So here dollars. So here we are less than 60 days out of an election, jason, and guess what . If a 10 Million payment to some podcasters who had no idea from some ties allegedly to to russia is now going to the try and make a spin on russia backing trump. Well, the last i heard putin announced that he was backing Kamala Harris and her, quote, infectious laugh. So the narrative the left, its disturbing to me. I think americans really need to be wary about where they get their news, and thats why, frankly, i trust, you know, you and others that i know will get the right muse out there. News out there. Jason well, and this is, i think, the core of the issue. What i worry is that this is a precursor by the Department Of Justice to justify a degree of suppression on one end and pushing a narrative on the other e send end. That interference is what scares me. Not a we know that a China And Iran and russia, they want to sow discord in the united states. That thes their goal. And they achieve that in many ways. But i worry that this is the precursor for doj to say now we have permission to do this. We have a serious problem in this country with rust in the doj, youre right. Concern with trust. 9 and the doj should not be interfering in elections. Weve been saying that. President trump has been saying that. When he said it, today called him an insurrectionist. S this is the a serious matter, and im so proud of Laras Work and the rnc in really deploying people on the ground to get behind any Election Integrity the that we do have left of this country. We have filed over A Hundred suits since 2023 to the make sure that many each state we are deploying all lawyers to help back the constitution and the right to vote when you have the right to vote. Not to flood illegal aliens into this country in an attempt to the shake it down because you Cant Win with the american vote. We know thats what theyre doing. Thats why theyre against these acts that are going to protect what is already law, that american citizens should vote. So, yeah, the doj is absolutely interfering in the election. This is not the first or the last time that well see it, but i assure you Donald Trump will clean it up and make sure that americas no longer afraid of the exact people that are supposed to protect us. Jason last very quick comment, coming before congress it is amazing is the 8 198 democrats voted against the idea of having only americans voting in the election. Do you care to comment on that real quick . Yes. I think its disgusting. The democrats Cant Win lawfully, so theyre trying to make sure that they turn their cheek the other way instead of enforcing the laws that require citizens to vote. Its incredibly important, and i urge everybody to get on Trump Force 47, volunteer and get out there on November 5th, make sure people are voting, knock on some doors and have some Election Integrity. In a statement, the first son said, quote i will not subject my family to more pain, more invasions of privacy and needless embarrassment. For all i have put them through over the years, i can spare them this. And so i have decided to plead guilty. Now all eyes turn to whether to the White House, whether president biden will pardon hunter before he leaves to value office in january. The Oval Office in january. Lock, this is the first case. Hunter biden has other cases that are still spending. If plus the potential allegations that came out from the Oversight Committee. Whats to your reaction to the him pleading guilty . Look, this is something weve known allal along, and the prosecutors have really shown the american people that this is not partisan, he was, indeed, guilty. He was breaking the law. Just because hes pleading guilty doesnt mean that our job stops. Ultimately, this whole thing was that Hunter Biden was really the keystone in regards to the Influence Peddling that was really benefiting the nowsitting president , joe biden. And so i do believe that our actual delegation and our committee needs to actually put forward legislation to stop Influence Peddling at this magnitude. I mean, it was egregious, what has happened. Honestly, i mean, so much media went to defend Hunter Biden, and he was guilty all along. Jason yeah. And hes lucky on those Tax Charges that the Statute Of Limitations ran out, otherwise those federal prosecutors should have been prosecuting him for that as well. This story will continue on. Ill be interesting to see if the president actually the pardons him. But i want to shift gears on us here a little bit, and i want to talk about something thats going to affect all of us, and that is the idea that if people are here illegally in the united states, not united States Citizens, the concern is about Election Integrity. Should you or should you not be a united States Citizen to vote in a federal flexion and 198 democrats previously said, no. How in the world can they possibly justify that . You know, thats a question that we all ask. You know, if youre defending someone illegally voting many our elections, youre ultimately undermining the very sacred integrity of this spiewtion institution. And so i think what Youll Find is that republicans, and some moderate democrats have been very supportive of the save act, but i think when we attach it to the c. R. , i think Youll Find democrats are going if to be Voting Against. That ive been hearing about that from a lot of my colleagues including those across the aisle, and it brings up the bigger question here. Democrats want to say our elections are safe and secure, yet theyre actively fighting against us being able to hold people accountable. I think everyone needs to ask that question, but more importantly, theres other countries that dont want there to be safe and secure elections in this country. So the best thing we can all do especially from a bipartisan perspective is to hand this over to senate and see if theyll pass it. Jason personally, i believe everybody should vote in person with a voter id. Yep. Agreed. Jason now, that is not the way it is set up right now. Early voting happens. And if republicans dont engage in the process in getting their ballots in and getting them in early, theyre at a huge disadvantage. Youve got to play by the rules that are there. But this idea that you would allow somebody whos not a united States Citizen to be able to vote, i cant imagine that the united States Senate is going to look everybody in the eye and say were willing to shut down the government because with we want to make sure that people that are here illegally have a chance to vote. That its just crazy. [laughter] well, well see what happens. You know, mike Mike Johnson is going to be in those negotiating rooms, so well to see what he does. What i can can tell you is, remember, we just had that massive social Security Breach where everyones Social Security Numbers were leaked, so i think this comes at the perfect time because we do want to to ensure people are requiring proof of Citizenship And Heir not actually using peoples Social Security Numbers to be able to vote. I can tell you that were championing it, i know my constituents want me to vote for it, i will be voting for it. But i hope my colleagues do the right thing because, frankly, people are just tired of the nonsense in washington. Jason is there any other thing that congress can do short of passing this act now, one could argue that its the actually illegal now to do this, but what else can they do other than push this . And congress is coming back into session i believe this week, its going to be up to Chuck Schumer and the senate democrats to take this bill up and get it passed. But Speaker Johnson has his hands full, but i think the moral if imperative could not be higher. You know, i think that Speaker Johnson needs to understand that hes going to be basically our top negotiator on this and that he needs to be willing to the play hardball. If they are in any way, Shape Or Form trying to pass a c. R. Without this being attached and trying to gut it, he needs to be willing to the make that tough decision and say, fine, if you dont want to ensure that our elections are safe and secure, youre not getting what you want. And i think he needs to put his foot down. Unfortunately, that might make him uncomfortable, but we have a nation to save, and this is the right things another. The we have people coming into this country that have nefarious objectives here, and so its time to play ball. Jason i want to ask you real quickly a question about the debate. Tuesday night means everything. If. Yes. Jason youve seen Kamala Harris. She has flipped and flopped and changed positions on key issues. Shes now running ads saying shes in favor of a Border Wall which is, you know, just laughable on its face. What do you thinks going to happen Tuesday Night . What does President Trump need to do . What does Kamala Harris need to do . I think President Trump needs to stay focused on his policy and what hes done for this country, and its a winwin all the way around. I think right now Kamala Harris, a lot of democrats were pushing her. They, frankly, didnt get a chance to really even vote her as the nominee, right . We saw what happened with the switcheroo with joe biden. Ultimately, as long as a he stays focused on policies, which he will, i think hes going to shine like The Star that he is. Kamala harris keeps trying to run away from The Border issue, so shell try to pivot on issues like abortion. I think he stays focused on inflation, immigration, Border Security, hes going to win all the way through to the include this november.
