War with. Israeli forces launching a counterstrike on lebanon. Will the attack comes after hamas invaded the country during a major jewish holiday killing at least 350 israelis in the deadliest take on israel in decades. Babies, women, the elderly were dragged outside of their homes, were taken hostage. This is our 9 11. Pete Israeli Defense forces now going after hamas forces in gaza city. An idf Spokesman Says they have closed nearly 30 of the entry points hamas used to get into israel. Youve seen the imagery of bulldozers and others used to knock over that security fence. Meanwhile, the conflict could be widening in egypt, at least 2 israelis and 1 egyptian shot and killed in alexandria. The suspected assailant, who is a police officer, was detained. So yesterday we ended our show, guys, kind of obviously talking about the horrific nature and the particulars of whats happening, but the question is would it widen and how quickly. Because one of the things of note is hamas is a terror army, and we saw their capabilities that surprised people yesterday. But hezbollah in the north is a much more sophisticated, battlehardened fighting force. And so should a Ground Incursion happen in gaza, we saw buildings leveled from fighter jets by the israelis. If a Ground Incursion happens there, hezbollah has said they will get involved in the north and these Rocket Attacks could be an indication that might be happening. Kayleigh yeah. And theres the no small matter of israeli hostages and hows that going to play out. As you know, pete, hamas uses hostages in various ways to shield their own. So the negotiations underway, the calculations underway by netanyahu to get those hostages back and how to unleash a retaliatory strike in an area where youve got israeli hostages, children, one mother and her two children, i read, ages 2 and 4 taken as us rah reilly hostages. As israeli hostages. Will the retaliatory response from israel is inevitable. It is certain. The ability to contain this, whatever this may be, this war, to israel, to gaza, to the west bank, even to hezbollah and lebanon is really what, is the great question. That news that there is one or two israelis and one egyptian shot is the fulfillment of something we spoke about yesterday which is the call for everyone to mobilize. Thats what that hamas has canned for. They have seen some instances of mobilization of radicals. So the question is not just what is israels response going to be, but what is the response of the greater region. What is the response from hezbollah, what is the response from syria, what is the response if iraq. What is the response of saudi arabia. Because that is the big one when you are standing on the doorstep of peace with israel and saudi arabia. Pete youre exactly right. Because when you look at the conflict of the history in the region, and were going to go off the wall on this, when you look at the 6day war in 67, the Yom Kippur War In 73, what the palestinians counted on was the arab world rallying to their side. And a lot of times it was rhetorically, or but it was alsoing, you know, jordan and egypt sent tanks and Fighter Planes to try to eliminate the state of israel. In this case, those more conventional threats has e eroded, and what iran is so scared of is that saudi arabia would make peace with israel. So when all these Terrorist Organizations are saber rattling, they dont have the universal chorus of arab nations saying were behind you, giving them cover. Will so what they hope for, from what i understand, is a bunch of dead bodies now in gaza to put saudi arabia into a position where they cannot sign a peace deal with israel. This was a purposeful, chaotic Terrorist Attack on the part of iran to scuttle, as we heard earlier in the hour, to scuttle that deal between saudi arabia and israel. So the question is, what does israels response to this do to the wider arab world. Kayleigh and what an enormous victory that would be, to have a normal aition of normalization. Under President Trump you had the abraham accords, and you had deals with bahrain, morocco, uae, and sow you so you already see the muslim world saying, yes, we will work with israel. You bring saudi arabia in, and our last guest said that changes the construct of the middle east. You bring saudi arabia with normalizing relations with iran, All Of A Sudden muslim versus su jew might not longer be the dynamic, and iran doesnt want that. Pete and how does that change Benjamin Netanyahus response . Because you have the tactical, strategic levels of what you do. The playbook with for israel is overwhelming destruction of your enemy, sending a signal of strength. On the other hand, to your point about saudi arabia, its such a challenge though because this ie israels declared this kind of war, seen this kind of attack. Youre hearing in israeli media, hey, this is our 9 11. I mean, look at what america did after a our 9 11, and the lengths we went to to destroy ourenmies. If thats the case, then the whole relationship with saudi arabia becomes secondary here. And the response becomes a response to the israeli electorate and citizens to say were going to go all in no matter what. Will and it seems fairly impossible, in my Amateur Estimation which i would defer to any one of expertise on this, it e seems fairly impossible to surgically root out hamas in gaza which means theres going to be a lot of civilian casualties, and Bibi Netanyahu has already warned, get out of gaza. If you are a civilian, an innocent, get out of gaza. And he has said its going to be turned to rubble. Kayleigh and historically what we have seen on the part of the media, on the part of the world really in many cases is theres initially a rush to say this is horrific, this is terrorism, and shortly thereafter, to your point, israels warned get out of the way, were going to retaliate. But when that body count starts racking up, All Of A Sudden watch for that heel turn by the liberal media to then blame israel. You already are see ilhan omar saying he wants a cease fire. We went and got the taliban, osama bin laden. She wants a ceasefire . No,s israel has to repallaluate. Pete i heard the same thing on my College Cam Campus after 9 11. Peace, peace. I can still see the smoke from the world trade center. What are you talking about . Will, the one place you can count on there being civilians or fighters, excuse me, or hostages is in hospitals, schools, and Human Shields is their textbook. This is sort of like what we attempt to do with Ground Operations in our own combat in afghanistan. You attempt to tell the local population to leave, but in gaza, i mean, thats 2 Million People in a taney strip of land tiny strip of land without an ton to go a lot of other places. So if youre going to flatten it, people are going to be killed, and and you have to set that expectation. Will earlier in the show we spoke to the human impact when we talked to an american, also an israeli activist. She lives in new york city. Shes visiting israel with her children and her husband, and this is how they experienced the tragedy yesterday. We are here to celebrate, you know, a celebration of happiness and joy and our devotion to our, you know, our torah and our homeland. And then we were rudely awakened yesterday morning by the siren going off. My older daughter came into the room, and she said i hear sirens, somebody said theres a bomb drill. And i said, stella, theres no bomb drills in israel, thats real. It was actually one of the scariest experiences of my life. This has, you know, youre freaking out yourself and youre trying to keep your child calm. My kids are very a aware of whats happening, and weve just had conversations about how were safe in the hotel, how were not leaving the hotel and why were staying put. Kayleigh i saw video of, you know, a lot weve talk the about this, the images, the videos that you see on social media are heartbreaking and tragic. I saw one where two children were on the ground with their parents, and the little boy was crying because his sister had just been killed as they were waiting to see if they would become hostages. This is the reality, women being drug through the streets by their hair. That is hamas. Pete the other reality every time youre in israel, like, it looks normal, it feels normal at a lot of levels, but around every corner is a soldier with a rifle or a policeman whos seen things before. It flips at any moment. Ask if its totally different than living in your neighborhood in the United States. Well, these days in some inner cities were seeing a different reality, but for the most part. Kayleigh no doubt about it. Meanwhile, President Biden is promising unwavering support for israel at least for now while his administration faces backlash over the 6 billion in frozen iran funds released last month. Pete lets turn now to Lucas Tomlinson who is live from the white house. Hey, lucas. Reporter guys, officials are calling there the largest Terrorist Attack on israel in its 75year history. President biden speaking at the white house yesterday pledged his full support. If. The United States stands with the people of israel in the face of these terrorist assault ises. Israel has the right to defend itself and its people, full stop. Theres never justification for Terrorist Attacks. And my administrations support for israels security is rock solid and unwavering. If. Reporter former President Donald Trump speaking in iowa yesterday assailed the Biden Administration for adding 6 billion in that recent Prisoner Swap with iran to free those american hostages. In addition to that, we agreed to free up 6 billion, and that is a absolute disaster. And i would not be at all surprised if part of that tremendous wealth that they just accumulated went into All Of A Sudden watching this level of aggression. Reporter another gop candidate, senator tim scott, joined in the criticism. I will say without any question you look back at the actions of the joe biden administering, 6 billion for hostages realizing that money is fungible, that is devastation. It makes him complicit with these attacks. Reporter some think this tweet by irans Supreme Leader is paragraph iran is behind the orders is proof iran is behind the attacks yesterday. Iran does not want to see saudi arabia and israel recognize each other for the first time this history, and recent interviews with bret baer the leaders of both countries sounded like they were close. Heres irans Supreme Leader in that tweet say, quote The Usurper Regime is coming to an end. Today the palestinian u. S. And the youth and the antioppression, antioccupation group in god willing, the movement will achieve its goals. The Biden Administration is denying any of the 6 billion in assets was used to finance the attacks on israel, a treasury official saying, quote These Restricted Funds Cannot go to iran, they can only be used for future humanitarianrelated purposes. Any suggestions to the contrary is false and misleading. Former Defense Secretary marks e per and senator Lindsey Graham calling this attack on israel yesterday a massive intelligence failure, guys. Will thank you, lucas. Just absolutely stunning video as Well Yesterday in iran. Did you see the videos from the floor of their legislature . Which is a Figurehead Legislature largely anyway, but yelling death to israel and death to america. Kayleigh yes. And not only that, setting off fireworks, they played the clips. So if any idea where iran stands, was iran behind this or not in of course they were. This is their proxy. They were excited about it. Saying death to israel, that was the parliament. We congratulate the palestinian advisers, thats the Senior Adviser to the iranian government. Pete and you with see our administration saying, oh, the 6 billion, its not in their bank account yet. There may be technicality, as you both pointed out its all fungible. But you also had the Obama Administration giving cash to the iranians, and youve got the rightening lightening of restrictions under the Biden Administration. So they want to fight over the particulars of 6 billion and and whether its in a qatari bank account or not, the signals have been set. And thats a part of what adam bo lahr, one of the negotiators of the Abram Abraham accords, he talked about it. Watch. The American People should understand that this is not border towns that are being attacked, this is central israel. So that is the equivalent of new york being attacked. And i would liken this a little bit to israels 9 11. So we reflect on this, this is a big attack. This is men, Women And Children being pulled out of cars, taken hostage. So this is a huge deal. So thats first and foremost. The second thing id say is this doesnt happen if iran didnt be isnt behind it pushing it, and thats what youre seeing. The abraham accords, when we worked on that, we were very serious about a iran and what was let through from a financial perspective and what would happen if there was any disruption. And so that protected against it. I think a lot of the timing that youre seeing right now has to do with two things. One is relaxed sanctions on iran. So theyve built up more of a financial war chest. And, number two, saudi arabia has indicated that theyre interested in normalizing with israel. This is irans opportunity to try to disrupt saudi arabia from normalizing with israel, and we cant let that a happen. Kayleigh i worked with adam, he, jared kushner, Robert Obrien all key to getting those accords. What he said was key, crystallize the true enemy e for the region, and that is iran. Not just a threat to israel, but to the broader region at large, and that pushed these peace deals through. Will we talked about the response here back home in america, we talked about the response from the squad. Pete, you brought up the comparison to some of your College Classmates who called for peace in the wake of 9 11 while theres still smoke coming up from downtown manhattan. Heres ilhan omar, congresswoman from minnesota and member of the squad, i condemn the horrific acts we are seeing unfold in israel against children, women, the elderly and unarmed people. Such senseless violence will only repeat the back and forth cycle weve seen. We need to call for a deescalation and ceasefire. I will keep advocating for peace and justice throughout the middle east. Pete the old ceasefire when only one shots taken sides taken a shot so far. Heres her fellow squad member, the socialist from the bronx, alexandria ocasiocortez, saying this today is devastating for all those seeking a lasting peace and respect for human rights. I condemn the hamas attacks in the strongest possible terms. No child or family should endure this violence and fear, and this will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region. A ceasefire is urgently needed to save lives. Key kaye kay these statements come from individuals, Rashida Tlaib who you point out weve yet to hear from, who have antisemitism in their past. Theyre said horrific, horrific things and yet they want a ceasefire. Unsurprising coming from this group. Will still ahead, the threat to International Security as iranbacked hamas attack on israel is deemed an intel failure. Is this part of a broader iranian strategy . Kayleigh former u. N. Ambassador to israel David Friedman shares his warning live from jerusalem next. Lowes knows you want the best quality products for the best price. Shop now with the confidence of our lowest price guarantee. Pete were back with a fox news alert. This morning Intelligence Experts flabbergastedded over how Hamas Terrorists pull off such a coordinated, expansive can detailed sneak attack without israels elite networks finding out in advance. And what does that mane for the safety the of its allies, namely the United States as well. Former u. S. Ambassador to israel David Friedman joins us thousand from jerusalem. David, thank you for joining us. First of all, how are you. Give our viewers a sense of the environment in jerusalem from your perspective. Well, im fine. Ive been through this, unfortunately, many times before. Im sitting with, in my home with a bunch of grandchildren who are, unfortunately, experiencing this for the first time, and i feel for them because, you know, were running in and out of shelters, and we have to explain to them whats happening. They dont understand there are people that want to kill jews, and its an exposure to an ugly world that i wish i didnt have to share with them. But physically i think were fine. People down south, hutch less so. Pete david, it was a surprise to the world, but to the idf as well. Whats the conversation inside is reel surrounding the israel surrounding the capability of Defense Forces . Is it shaken right now . Oh, its shaken to the core. This is not consistent at all with israels perception of itself. The Israeli Intelligence services, as you know, are the best in the world. And this was, this was not if a particularly sophisticated attack. This was a bunch of terrorists marching across the border, theres a buffer zone between, you know, gaza a and that border. They should have been intercepted before they ever got to the border. They blew up the fence, they marched through 22 towns, took over an army base for 10 hours, killed a bunch of soldiers in their sleep. They proceeded, obviously, to commit atrocities the likes of which i dont think weve seen since the holocaust. So this has shaken the country to its core. And i think its also taught everyone here and throughout the world an important lesson which is, you know, intelligence is incredibly important. Technology is incredibly important. But theres something about blocking and tackling that wins Football Games and keeps people safe. And the failure to intercept this march across the border tells me that people in israel, the elite in israel and i think it may be true in america as well, you know or or theyre focusing on shooting missiles out of the air at 500 miles an hour, on the most sophisticated technologies that you need to have a ph. D. In physics to understand. Thats all very important, but look what brought us e real to its knees here. It wasnt israel to its knees here. It wasnt any great technology, it was just a simple ability to i mean, presumably maybe hacking into a Camera System or an Early Warning system for which there should be numerous redundancies. And its telling, i think, the people here and i think should tell people around the world, you know, its not just about, you know, technology and physics and algorithms, you know . Its also about, you know, basically keeping your border safe. And thats the lesson that i think america can gain from the as well. Youve got to know whos in your cup, whats on your border, youve got to protect your border frommed bad people and, unfortunately, israel may be the most painful lesson in its 75year history yesterday about how important it is to have basic security, Recan Dancies redundancies that a keep people safe. And its a colossal failure. People call it israels 9 11. I think its more like israels pearl harbor because, you know, the difference between 9 11 and pearl harbor, in pearl harbor we knew exactly who the enemy was, and we knew 9 11 it took some time the figure out who the enemy was, to figure out where it came from from. This, we knew in advance exactly who the enemy was and that they were trying to kill us, and we still failed to stop it from happening. So its a Crushing Blow to israel. I think and i hope and i pray that this lesson will now be or internalized, and and i hope among israels allies around the world including my country, america, to get back to basics, you know . You cant win a Football Game with a quarterback and a wide receiver. You need the whole package and even the oldfashioned Security Devices and practices. Pete One Of The Best breakdowns ive heard so far. David friedman, thank you so much. God bless. Please keep us posted. You too, pete, god bless you. Pete all right. Key kay fox news alert, this morning israel is reeling as that mass hamas murders hundreds while abducting innocent Women And Children and soldiers off the streets. Our next guest witnessed the attack firsthand and today had been attending the funeral of a Close Friends songs an idf soldier son, an idf soldier. Robbie or berman joins us live. Robbie, im so sorry for the loss of your friends son. Hows he doing . I dont know, ive not been this touch with him. And another friend, his son was keyed napped, one of kidnapped. So its a very sad day. Kayleigh wow. And no updates on the location of your other friend whose son was kidnapped . No, but i live in tel aviv, is and right now as were talking, there are military helicopters landing every few minutes unloading the wounded and going back out to pick them up again. This is an ongoing thing. The terrorists have not been cleaned outside of israel. This is a huge, not just an intelligence failure, its a huge military and political failure. But more military. How is it possible that they were managedded to kill all the people, all the outlook posts, kill the soldiers, kill them in their sleep . And theyre still, as we speak now just a few hours ago a woman said that she received a phone call from her niece whos 8 years old and shes hiding, they have killed mommy and daddy, shes hiding with her 4yearold brother underneath a bed, theyve been there for hours, no ones coming to get them. This is an ongoing failure. Hundreds of people have been killed, over a hundred people kidnapped, and these were old women, young children, young people going to the music fair. This is a tragedy. I think David Friedman was correct this is kind of a pearl harbor. And, you know, i feel so bad for the innocent palestinian Women And Children in gaza, but theres going to be a lot of people that are going to die. This is a war. This is not concern this is war. This is a fulltime warn, and this was done on the anniversary of the Yom Kippur War, and it was a bigger scale because at least, you know, the Yom Kippur War it was the soldiers who bore the money, but here it was the civilians. Its unbelievable. Its an act of war, and things are not going to be good here in this country for many, many months to come, and i will not be surprised that if in six months theres an inquiry and the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister and the head of the Chief Of Staff all have to resign because its a failure of massive proportions, intelligence, military and political. Kayleigh well, robby, that just breaks my heart. You just mentioned a 4yearold ask and 578yearold hiding under a bed, looking at their parents saying theyre not moving, theyre dead, where are the police. People very calling have been calling the police, and theyre not answering the phone. You know why . 30 police in one station were killed. This is an act of war of a scale we havent seen. In the lebanon war that israel had in 1983 for the whole six months war, only 6 Israeli Soldiers died. This is huge. Kayleigh robby, stay safe, a former colleague of mine is in tel aviv, and he mentioned having to go up and down with his 6yearold daughter between Bomb Shelters and his residence. Absolutely tragic. Its such a tragedy because people are dying, more people are going to die. Were spending trillions of dollars on nonsense. Its not going to get us closer to peace, hamas closer to what they want. Gdp plummets. Im a tour guide with. Ive given back last night probably about 6,000 in deposits. People are canceling left and right. This whole thing is awful for everybody. And the people that died, innocent people have died, terrible. Kayleigh my heart is with israel right now. We will be praying for you as you attend that funeral today, thank you so much. Straight ahead, hamas vicious attack turning a judeo of celebration into a night of terror. Will and Pete Go Off The Wall with the deeprooted history of the israelipalestinian conflict next. I dont ever want to go back to wearing a 4xl shirt or not being able to climb up stairs without taking a break. So im committed to golo for life. Will fox news alert, as chaos unfolds overseas in israel, the root of the issue dates back centuries. Pete so lets go off the wall to break down the history of the israelipalestinian conflict and how one stacks up against others. If you really want to start at the beginning, better open your bible because this land has been disputed all the way back. You go to the Tomb Of The Patriarchs where god said this is the land will be for you and your descendants. Fast forward about 2,000 years, more than 2,000 years, to the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Will this is an extremely complex history, and we approach this with a great amount of humility but hope the give you context to understand the greater scope of history. You pointed out, pete, the Ottoman Empire controlled this region for centuries, quite honestly. I began its fall, you can see it controlled everything across north africa, through turkey and up into southeastern europe. And it began its collapse in the early 1900s. Ultimately, it was a participant in world war i alongside germany and italy, but its collapse begins to destabilize the region. Pete no doubt. So the lose ors of world war i ultimately get carved up, and through that you get the British Mandate which that period of time you can kind of liken it to the romans and the jews, you know, 2,000 years before that. Theres a foreign occupier. Some people looked kindly, certain jews did, on the British Mandate, but ultimate lit it was declared with the balfour declaration. At the end of world war i, that begins, as you point out, the carveup, the ultimate process of the carveup of the region into essentially nationstates. What was a tribal region of people of varying religions and interest withs became something more resembling the modern map of nationstates. Pete and jews had lived peacefully throughout croup for quite some time. Then you saw the rise of real antisemitism directed at jews most dramatically, obviously, in nazi germany. World war ii happens, you have the holocaust. And for a period of 20, 25 years, a lot of theres a new Zionist Movement if forming around jerusalem, return to our homeland. And so you see millions and millions of jews returning to israel, can thats when the conversation starts about a jewish state. Will we dont want to take for granted or be patronizing that the everyone understands all of the words with, all the terms, all the geography, gaza, the west bank. Lets zoom our map in just on israel. Weve talked about these areas of israel off and on not just in the last couple of days, but for weeks and months and years. Pete has done a great job of highlighting whats happened in the last couple days. There are two palestinian areas of israel, largely the Wes Bank Which west bank which i believe a good geographic comparison to this is delaware, and the gaza strip, where were focused right now, where most of this not rockets, but Ground Forces, chaotic terrorist Ground Forces poured out of gaza. Pete and, of course, this borders with egypt. Hamas used to be affiliated with the miss if limb brotherhood. Miss if limb brotherhood. They muslim brotherhood. The west bank is also known as judea and see her ya, so much of israel is words and semantics and is how its framed. Its a place where a lot of sites that christians and jews relate to are located, bethlehem, jericho, the baptismal site of jesus in the jordan river in the west bank as a well. Will you can see the rough approximations of the size of gaza which has been described as one of the most densely Populated Areas on earth. And in the west bank. And you go ahead, pete. Pete its super complicated. Theres an area a, area b, area c, certain areas controlled by the israeli military, but the Palestinian Authority controls the governance, and theres some areas where the israelis control the governance. Will and you heard me reference the comparison of the west bank roughly to the size of delaware, comparison of the entire at the tate of israel to the state of new jersey when were talking about the geographic expanse. Lets go to a timeline again now. This is extremely complicated, well do do our to share whats happened over the past 80 years or so in the formation of israel and the corresponding wars. Pete and you cant minimize the impant of world war ii, the d impact of world war ii and the opportunity to [inaudible] so in 1947 the u. N. Voted to divide that area into separate jewish and arab states, but, of course, arab countries didnt want jews in the middle east. Will yeah. It immediately ignites a war. But in 1948 the state of israel is officially established. At the wake of that war, a war in which israel wins, agreements are signed with egypt, jordan, syria and lebanon to reach formal peace treaties. That, though, has always been tenuous and temporary. Pete america recognized israel within 11 minutes, and they were almost immediate are hi attacked. The jewish state fought back and won and, therefore, had a chance. This was the big one, the 6day war in 1967 reshuffled the whole deck because, ultimately, israeu and his brother, they remember going onto the temple mount. The west bank was recaptured, East Jerusalem was recaptured, the Golan Heights were up here, taken, very strategically significant. And the gaza strip was taken by israel as well. So the modern state of israel i underby jews was will that 6day wars the big one and the Yom Kippur War which, by the way, was a short six years later in 973 1973, total deaths, 21,000. This is sort of the mark people have point to at this moment in history saying what we just witnessed yesterday is the worst since the Yom Kippur War. Pete yeah. There was surprise here, but there were always preemptive strikes, because you could tell these countries were coming. You hear in the rhetoric aloss, go back to the 67 borders, and that is a carving back out of the west bank, carving back out of gaza, carving back out of the Golan Heights, but with israel has felt having the Golan Heights provides their security. When you see the Gee Ogg Anything geography, you see how strategic that is because the gaza strip is an people, in giving land over to the palestinians, and whats happened there . Its turned into a terrorist will and these wars were more State Actor Wars with egypt, syria and jordan. Then you had the first intifada, the second and now youre talking about the Palestinian Authority, a hamas pete talking about jasser arafat, bill clinton yasser arafat, there was a lot of double talk and multiple israeli Prime Ministers attempting to give land for peace, and they would lose power. Its all been a tugofwar all of which has been meant to try to see whether or not israel could survive. Will theres a short and humble overarching bit of Historical Context that leads us to the doorstep of what happened over this past weekend. Kayleigh, over to you. Com. Every day we get closer. It seems for the first time everyone is serious. I know you heard those words from the Saudi Crown Prince. What was your response . Well, i was delighted to hear what he had to say, and if to borrow a phrase, i think were getting closer to peace every day that passes. Finish. Will fox news alert, barely two weeks ago both the Saudi Crown Prince and israeli Prime Minister were on the brink of a historic peace deal which many now fear wont happen as Hamas Terrorists attack israel. Former idf paratrooper daniel flesh served as a spokesperson to the u. N. , and he joins us now. Daniel, thanks for being with us. Im just curious as you join us this morning,s where is your sentiment on that previously optimistic viewpoint that saudi arabia and israel might be arriving at peace . Do you feel that optimism still today . Well, i think this morning its [inaudible] at worse. Certainly, israels focus is securing its border, bring Whering The Fight Into Gaza and making sure that all civilians and soldiers that have been, were brought into gaza as captives yesterday are returned safely home. So in terms of peace with saudi arabia, thats certainly a longterm strategic objective, but right now its focusing on securing the country. Will we know its somehow intricately tied up in whats happened in israel. There is the belief that, of course, iran is behind what iran just executed in southern israel, and iran wants to interfere with the potential peace deal between israel and saudi arabia. So there is a belief that if you can sow chaos, provoke a response from israel, an overwhelming response from israel, that you can then somehow get saudi arabia separated from israel. Is that what how do you see that . A, do you believe thats the strategy from iran and, b, will it be successful . I think if you ask why this attack happened, one of the main ones is because as you showed in the clip before, Normalization Efforts between saudi arabia and israel as the interview with bret baier said had been progressing very positively. So why now . Irans trying to play spoiler to that potential Normalization Agreement because if theres a Normalization Agreement, that effectively ends the arab israeli war. So is iran has activated its hamas in gaza strip. Were hearing already today that theres activity on lebanons Southern Border with hezbollah,9 another iransponsored terrorist organization. So i certainly its clear iran feels bolstered by a lot of the policies from this administration the haas number of months, getting money money for Hostage Exchanges and other meshes measures taken. It wants to probably interrupt or intercept i sort of operation or agreement that israel and saudi arabia could have is. Will and in that estimation, is the strategic purpose then to provoke israel into something that would somehow then turn off saudi arabia . A response from israel that would make saudi arabia go, whoa, thats too much, israel . I think, certainly. Saudi arabia is custodians of the two holy cities, it views itself as absolutely the bulwark of the arab world, particularly against israel the last seven plus decades. So if youre able to try to cleave them apart and try to have the hamas become the new front against israel, certainly saudi arabia will look at that. And if israel is taking the fight to other muslims and palestinians, to what extent can saudi arabia then be a party to israel. But again, i think the broader strategic position for saudi arabia is then to have peace with israel. But right now we just focus on security concerns. Will right. Weve got to run there. It puts Bibi Netanyahu in a very difficult position. Straight ahead, nearly 2 p. M. In israel, idf forces are fighting back against hezbollah and hamas. Trey yingst joins us live.
