You are pulling a popular energy drink from your store shelves, prime. If you have grandkids, kids at home, you have seen this probably, showing up at Sporting Events or schools with this. Its really popular. Why are you pulling it from the shelf. Pulling it from the shelves, its not healthy for the kids. And some of these companies are doing things not healthy for the kids. Give them a lot of sugar, a lot of caffeine, and its not going to make our kids grow up healthy. And people have to realize that. Some of these companies, all they care about is how long does it last on the shelf and how fast can it sell and does it give the kids a pep. You might as well put fentanyl on marijuana. One over at the State Department and one at the pentagon, and we were hopeful to hear something about the gold star families today, that did not happen by either of the spokes people speaking. Families are not going to get an apology today, at least. Biden administration is sort of digging in and standing firmly by their decision. So what we know from the white house. We are told the president and the first lady, they say they will always honor the sacrifices of the 13 Service Members killed in the attack, but the president made the tough decision to end the 20year War In Afghanistan because he was not going to sends another generation of troops to fight and die in a conflict that had no end in sight. Thats coming from the white house. Meanwhile, the pentagon did release a Statement Last night after the Hearing Reading in part we are forever grateful for their service, sacrifice and committed efforts during the evacuation operations. Meanwhile, republicans on capitol hill say these gold star families, they deserve accountability. Ive had the ability through the House Foreign Affairs committee and the Armed Services committee the State Departments own officials in kabul warned the Secretary Of State and others that if they went through with the strategy it would be a failure and loss of life. Congressman, we had so many heartwrenching stories from the families of some of the 13 Service Members who died. Three things really stick out to me, and the first is that these families really believe that the military did not care much about their son. Lets listen to what they said. My son and 12 others left this earth thinking their command cared nothing for them. The wounded feel that their command felt nothing for them. The survivors felt their command felt nothing for them. I feel this as well. I expected the government to love my son as much as i do to protect him. Just like i protect him for the first 17 years of his life. Unfortunately that didnt happen. John congressman, they feel like they were abandoned here. Yeah, and that really is showing up now in terms of the ability of the military to recruit for future officers and enlisted personnel. Obviously there should be a response from the administration about how tragic this was and it really the poor Strategic Thinking that went into the withdrawal from afghanistan. John the other thing that i was really struck by is how angry these parents were at biden and the military. Listen to this. The anger i held inside on how our 13 kids were not being recognized nationally was becoming prominent. How could so many people pay their respects but nothing at all from the president of the United States on something he had conducted. When our leaders, including Secretary Of Defense and our Commander In Chief called this evacuation a success, as if there should be celebration, it is like a knife in the heart. John which then brings to the third point which was they say theres been 0 accountability here. What do you say . Well, i think thats largely true. I think that the president owes these families an explanation, i think the country owes these families an explanation. I also think the president could be a lot more sympathetic. He has shown this sympathy towards a lot of different causes in his time in office. These parents obviously dont feel he has shown them the respent and sympathy and really the respect for the tragedy of their children losing their lives. John the Biden Administration again blamed the Trump Administration saying they were left with this disaster, but Trump Officials made it clear a withdrawal from afghanistan was going to be conditionsbased and the conditions werent there and President Trump never would have ordered the troops out. Why does biden keep saying this . Well, its a really weak talking point. Obviously President Trump was getting the southern border under control and President Biden walked away from the trump policies. He wanted to walk away from the withdrawal in afghanistan he could have, he did it in a way everyone knows President Trump would not have done. If the taliban had violated their side of the agreement, President Trump would have called off the withdrawal in a heartbeat to protect American Service personnel, as well as Military Equipment that was in the country. And so its very clear to me that the Biden Administration just wanted to get out by a certain date, take credit for the withdrawal, and things went terribly wrong.
