Fossil footprints prove humans populated the Americas thousands of years earlier

Archaeologists have discovered fossil footprints unearthed at White Sands National Park in New Mexico that were made predominantly by teenagers, dated to the height of the last glacial maximum, some 23,000 years ago, making them potentially the oldest evidence of our species in the Americas.
