FORT MYERS, Fla. – A Fort Myers man is behind bars Tuesday because of a beer and cigarette stealing spree.
Monday night 31-year-old Johnny Glover went to two gas stations along Cleveland Avenue and stole things.
When deputies arrived, he tried to run. The manager at a 7-Eleven said they report thefts almost daily. Robberies, burglaries and assaults have also happened at the store.
Glover’s night started at a 7-Eleven along US-41 and Palm Drive where he tried to buy cigarettes. When his card declined, he grabbed the cigarettes and split, according to LCSO.
