Form 3 girl injures her cop boyfriend with broken glass

In Kenya, a youthful police officer is fighting for his life at the Sagam Community Hospital in Luanda, Siaya County after he was on Christms day attacked by his girlfriend, who is a Form Three student.
Sheryl Awino, 19, cut Dennis Mugo in the head with a broken glass, resulting in Mugo bleeding profusely. The incident happened at Mugo’s house in Ugunja, Siaya County.
The cause of fight between the suspect, a student at St. Peter’s Rambula Mixed Secondary School, and the cop, who is attached to Ugunja Police Station, remains unclear.
Police say Awino and Mugo had, Friday evening, been embroiled in a long and bitter physical fight, which resulted in the two breaking a glass table.
