TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women’s tennis team faces ACC in-state rival Miami at home on Sunday. The Seminoles are 6-4 on the season, which includes 1-1 in ACC play, and are a perfect 4-0 record at home. Florida State enters Sunday's match ranked 40th in the national team rankings. Freshman Millie Bissett headlines the team after being announced ACC co-Freshman of the Week. Bissett earned four total wins over the previous weekend and is 9-2 overall in her freshman season. Florida State’s Anna Arkadianou also went 4-0 this past weekend and is 87th in the national singles ranking. Senior Vic Allen leads the team with a 7-2 record in the spring season and is currently on a three-game win streak. Miami comes into this weekend's matchup with a 5-2 record and is ranked 30th in the national team rankings. The canes are coming off a 2-5 loss to Syracuse last Sunday. Miami’s redshirt sophomore Alexa Noel leads the team with a 5-2 record and is ranked 8th in the national singles ranking. Sunday’s match begins at noon.
