COLUMBUS — State Rep. Ron Ferguson, R-Wintersville, will serve as vice chairman of the Ohio House Financial Institutions Committee, Speaker Bob Cupp, R-Lima, announced Tuesday.
“I am looking forward to leading alongside Chairman Kris Jordan, R-Ostrander, with the committee during this General Assembly,” Ferguson said. “This will be a great opportunity for me as a freshman to understand the committee process and successfully execute my duties as a member of the other committees I serve on.”
The committee considers legislation regarding Ohio’s banks, credit unions and treasurers and supports the financial well-being and stability of all Ohioans, Ferguson explained.
