A handful of infrastructure contracts are on the agenda for the Fort Dodge City Council tonight.
The council will also consider an application for $18 million in state assistance for the development of a pavilion and plaza at Corridor Plaza.
The council’s work will begin at 5 p.m. today with a workshop on health insurance.
The council’s regular business meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
During that session, the council will consider awarding a contract for the annual street repaving project. Fort Dodge Asphalt Co. has submitted the only bid of about $908,000.
Among the streets planned for repaving this year are 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th streets between Central Avenue and Second Avenue North. Also, Central Avenue between Third Street and the Canadian National Railway tracks is slated for a fresh coat of asphalt.
