We were just, if the people were going out doing protesting, the peaceful protests i have no problem with that but the peaceful protests turned into looting and rioting and that was something that was really uncalled for and everything. Like you said before, liz, four Police Officers in the scent louis metro area were shot and wounded that night. My dad was the one that ended up losing his life. So it was just really uncalled for. If it was a peaceful protest that would have been great. Just protest peacefully. Then go back to your homes and everything, then no one wouldnt have gotten hurt or wouldnt have lost their life like my father did. Think of all the things that john bolton written about or alleged here, saying the president was okay with concentration camps about i president xi in china. Boy, that is a pretty big deal. I would think he probably should have told the world about all these allegations and not held back before you know, a book comes out, right . If these were so serious and had National Security implications you dont save it so you can profit off it. That is what Michael Bolton, im sorry i done it again, john bolton did here. They will get Michael Wolff and omarosa treatment and they wrote books, get two week media tour. Nobody questions anything in the book. Michael wolff admitted not factchecking said book and treating gossip as gospel. John bolton has been eviscerated by the left for decades as a warmonger. Will be treated as the next big truth teller like sully sullenberger. Well see john boltons treatment from the media. I expect he will get some tough interviews. Think again what he is alleging. He said President Trump thought it would be cool to actually invade venezuela, all right . So the president of the United States, the one currently in office, who pulled troops out of syria, pulling troops out of afghanistan, reducing troops in germany, suddenly wants to send u. S. Forces into venezuela and get into an endless war there when that is exactly what he ran against . A lot of the book doesnt make a lot of sense. I would hope john bolton wouldnt get interviewed he is asked about things specifically and asked to provide any kind of proof. If he took all the notes i would expect he would present them in real time but we havent seen anything really about that yet. So look, this is where we are again. This doesnt move the needle though, liz. Weve seen it with these books before. If you support the president youre not going to believe anything that john bolton has to say. If you dont like the president , all right you got a good book for the beach i guess you can fulfill whatever hatred you have for him when you go through these pages. Nobody should be naive enough to believe that john bolton wrote this book and are making these claims out of a sincere desire to speak the truth. If bolton really believed trump posed an imminent threat to our country and National Security, he would have told congress what he knew instead of waiting for a s p. There has been a 32 milliondollar taxpayerfunded investigation into supposed collusion between trump and russia. Bob mueller looked into it for two years and found nothing. The fact is russia is not the greatest threat to this country, china is. China completely controls the w. H. O. They continue to rip off our ip with impunity. They are horrible. They want world domination. They do not want to make this globe a better place, but the democrats, establishment media, many Establishment Republicans refused to acknowledge these truths because they dont fit in with the narrative constructed to harm trump and i think bolton is frankly angry trump refused to take his advice to get involved with every International Conflict possible the way that previous administrations did, taking the advice from people like john bolton. In fact the New York Times review of boltons book said he thought the most irrational thing he witnessed trump or any president dough do not going to war with iran. He thought tha was the worse thing that trump did. Trump deserves a lot of praise for resisting the urge to get involved in another boltonbacked conflict. Elizabeth kristin, you know what is interesting . John bolton did not give an affidavit even for the senate trial on impeachment. That is what reports are indicates. He went to the white House Counsel and ag bar about his concerns and wouldnt step up to give information in the impeachment hearing. Ken starr is saying if he was upset why, why didnt he quit . Right. As your previous guest said, john bolton is at all times doing what is in the best interests of john bolton. At this point, liz we all should be thankful that bolton is criticizing trump from afar instead of making decisions about what country were going to bomb next. He is, just going to get a ton of praise and a ton of glory for this book but ultimately he will always have the legacy of promoting expensive and brutal wars abroad but ultimately, it really doesnt matter whats in this book. It is not going to change much. Voters are far more concerned with what impacting their daily lives right now. Theyre far more interested in the job market, coronavirus and its impacts and in the economy. So the media will try to blow up this story as much as possible and run with it, but it is really not going to change much when it comes to the decision voters are going to make. Elizabeth so bolton is a war hawk, he is a warmonger. He is hawkish, that is always been the take on john bolton. He is quoting President Trump it was clear that russias leader Vladmir Putin wanted out of syria. That putin liked Benjamin Netanyahu that bolton seemed not to care much way or the other about leaving Iran Nuclear Deal although he would say russia would stay in. What is your reaction when you saw that out of boltons book . Ultimately, liz, we cant take any of this seriously. A lot of what bolton is saying probably isnt true. I also think it is quite telling by the way for years the media despised bolton. There is so much pushback against him becoming the ambassador to the u. N. In 2005. Now they want us to take hum as being totally credible. Theyre going to make him into this big hero. The real story here is the priorities of the democrats and the media and frankly the priorities of bolton. Voters can see right through it and trump voters they have had enough of this. We can see exactly whats going on. Elizabeth the democrats are undercutting it now. Theyre taking shots at boltons credibility too though they want to subpoena him. Final word, democrats want to subpoena bolton and have him for testimony. Your final word on that. It wont mack much of a difference. It wont matter what bolton says or what he reseals. We dont know what is true or what is not. Frankly nothing what he is talking about is most important to the country. What is most important to the country, our security and our economy.
