Scott was a soothing comfort you could not tune out or box in.

Even besides the 600,000 American lives claimed by COVID-19, we seem to be assaulted by an array of death, whether from senseless violence, lengthy illness or sudden tragedy. In the center of such overwhelm, a different type of death softly announces itself, tender and without warning, forcing us to compartmentalize our suffering.
