Kanaan had anticipated retirement after 2020, but the pandemic negated his goodbye tour and then he was asked to share a car with the legendary Jimmie Johnson.
Kanaan will tackle the ovals with Johnson on road and streets. He previously drove for Ganassi from 2014 and 2017.
