CARY, N.C.--Cornerstone Building Brands Inc., a manufacturer of exterior building products, was acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice. Shareholders voted June 24 to approve the acquisition and the deal was finalized July 25. “The closing of this transaction is an important milestone for Cornerstone Building Brands, and we are pleased to be entering our next phase of growth as a private company,” said Jeffrey S. Lee, executive vice president and CFO of Cornerstone Building Brands.
