For someone who comes from a non-music background, you have really come a long way. How do you look back at your journey so far?
It has been a roller-coaster ride. I am glad for all that has come my way--both good and bad, as even bad experiences teach you important things. My journey has not been easy at all. To be part of such a big industry without having any roots or background was daunting at first. But I always believed in myself and knew it would take time because no one was endorsing me. I was on my own and I liked it that way because when the struggle is yours, the success is yours alone too. And then you don’t take it for granted because you have come up the hard way.
