Perfect day to kick-off the opening of Toronto swimming beaches at the Leuty Lifeguard Station.

Of course none of this, or the popular Active Toronto program, helps the pubs and restaurants or the patios that would normally do very well on a scorching hot weekend. These activities are free and people can go down along the lake for a picnic or get some good at the concession businesses that are open or the hot dog and ice cream carts and trucks.
