15 suspected terrorists planning to attack the UAE embassy in the capital Addis Ababa arrested

Ethiopian authorities have arrested 15 terrorists who planned to attack the United Arab Emirates (UAE) embassy in the capital Addis Ababa, local authorities announced late on Wednesday.
The attack, according to the intelligence service, was intended to cause a significant number of casualties and extensive material damage, as well as tarnish the image of Addis Ababa, home to the African Union (AU) and numerous international diplomatic missions.
At least fifteen people were arrested while planning the attack on the Emirati diplomatic building, with the aim of damaging Ethiopia's image, the security forces said in a statement.
