Despite scores of neighbors opposing it, Winstanley Enterprises’ massive distribution center planned for 35 Bacon Road in Enfield received unanimous approval Thursday from the Planning and Zoning Commission, although Chairman Lewis Fiore shared that it was one of the hardest decisions he’s made as an elected official.
“Over my years of service to this town — which have been many — I have had to make some difficult decisions,” he said at the PZC meeting held in Town Hall. “I can say with confidence this is one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make.”
