Early voting for the City of Cotter’s May 11 special election opens tomorrow morning at the Baxter County Courthouse. The city is asking voters to approve a 1% sales and use tax to finance improvements to the city’s sewer system.
Early voting will continue at the courthouse through Monday, May 10. Early voting hours are 8-4:30 with no voting available on Saturday or Sunday.
On Tuesday, May 11, voting will be available at Wesley United Methodist Church between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The church is located at 179 Memory Lane in Cotter.
Votes will be counted at Cotter City Hall, located at 115 McLean Avenue, once the polls close on election night.
