'We will continue talking:' Gov. Abbott and Gov. DeSantis hold border security briefing

On Saturday, Governor Greg Abbott met up with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in Del Rio to talk border security.
Both men made it clear they blame the Biden Administration for the surge in migrants crossing the border that has been seen in 2021.
This meeting is coming about a month after Governor Abbott was in Del Rio promising a border wall, to arrest and jail undocumented immigrants, put up money to help secure the border and more.
“This is where the people are coming across. This is where we can make the biggest impact,” said Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
