 CATSKILL — Barbara Caldera of Earlton, a retired Army lieutenant colonel  who served as a nurse in the Vietnam War, has been selected by the Greene County Legislature to receive the Senior Citizen of the Year Award.
Duncan MacPherson of Freehold, who among his many volunteer endeavors assisted  parents of deployed military personnel, was selected to receive the Outstanding Contribution by a Senior Citizen Award. Anne Heim of Leeds was named to a Certificate of Merit.
The trio will received their awards during a ceremony  at the next Greene County Legislature meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 19 at 411 Main St., Catskill.
