Dubois couple honored for long-standing support of youth

(Dubois, WY) – They were among the first Dubois residents to get on board with a group of concerned citizens to provide a safe outlet for its youngsters. Bob and Mary Lou McGee were honored for their vision and support of Dubois Youth Activities (DYA), which later became the Boys & Girls Club of Dubois, at a Breakfast hosted by the Club on June 23 at the Dennison Lodge. Their giving spirit and compassionate hearts inspired this quiet community to give more than $71,000 to support the operations of the Boys & Girls Club.
The McGees humbly and quietly contribute to many worthy causes in the Dunoir Valley in addition to national and international causes. Their investment in youth goes back to the beginning of DYA and through today where they have provided crucial consistent financial support. At the Breakfast, the McGees committed to a generous pledge toward the annual operating budget of $167,000 of the Dubois Club.
