DSWD intensifies program for Safer Internet Day for Children

QUEZON CITY, Jan. 27 (PIA) – "Bagong Normal: Ligtas na Internet for All”, is this year’s theme for the online observance of ‘Safer Internet Day for Children Philippines,” which will be held on the second  week of February.
The event will highlight promoting understanding among the general public of the current anti-child pornography and child online protection efforts and initiatives being done by the government.
Likewise, the Inter-agency Council Against Child Pornography (IACACP) together with the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), lined up activities for the celebration, which include the presentation of the newly signed Child Online Safe Guarding Policy under RA 10929 or the Free Internet Access in Public Spaces Act.
