Drug users, just like sex workers, are people – it's time for reforms to protect them

The first gathering of the Citizens’ Assembly on Drugs recently took place in Malahide, Dublin. Over 18 months, 100 citizens will discuss the issue, hear from experts and then produce a report for the Government to consider, with a view to developing appropriate policy and legislation.
