Three members of a family drowned while bathing at a pond in Bogampatti village near Sulthanpet. The deceased have been identified as V Manikandan, M Tamilselvi, and Bhuvana. Preliminary inquiry revealed that they did not know how to swim. Sulthanpet police have registered a case and are investigating.
