Dr Venkatesh A N of Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru takes charge as National President for the Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI)

New Delhi: Dr Venkatesh A N, Sr. Consultant & Head of Emergency Medicine, Apollo Hospitals Karnataka Region has been elected as the new National President of the ‘Society for Emergency Medicine India’ (SEMI). He will hold charge during the period 2021- 2023. Dr Venkatesh’s experience of over 21 years in emergency medicine and expertise in all areas of emergency procedures and Emergency care medicine will help him to ensure that SEMI continues to play an important role in ensuring proficiency and skill in emergency care practitioners in the country.
The Society for Emergency Medicine India (SEMI) is continuously working on Training, Education, Recognition, Research and Service in the field of emergency medicine. SEMI is a full member of the International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM) and is the only organization representing India on the global map of emergency care.
