Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has explained the criteria for placing countries on the list for mandatory hotel quarantine, as three nations were removed from Monday.
As of Monday, passengers arriving in Ireland from Albania, Israel and the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia will no longer be required to observe mandatory hotel quarantine.
Incoming travellers from these three countries will now be allowed to restrict their movements in locations of their choice for 14 days, unless they can provide evidence of a negative PCR test five days after their arrival.
