Doctor-population ratio in country stands at 1:834, Mansukh Mandaviya tells Lok Sabha

The government has sanctioned Centres of Excellence and supported government medical colleges to strengthen mental health departments. The National Mental Health Policy is being implemented through the District Mental Health Programme, providing training and manpower for mental health services.
