Districts' financial rankings climb a bit

Many of the region’s school districts have improved financially since last year, but many still have work to do before they are considered stable. 
The Griggsville-Perry, Brown County, Franklin and Pleasant Hill districts all showed improvement in their financial categories. 
“It is something we’ve been gaining on for the last few years,” said Kent Hawley, superintendent for Griggsville-Perry schools. “The board has been fiscally responsible and raising that rating has been a goal for them.”
