Responding to Mamata Banerjee’s claim that four-five people pushed her in Nandigram, Trivedi said she did not say anything about the alleged attack from the hospital bed.
“Initially, Mamata Banerjee told that five people came and pushed her into the car, crushing her leg with the car's door. In her second version from the hospital bed, she did not refer to any such things,” he added.

When asked if would be getting any position in the BJP after joining the saffron party, Trivedi the former Railway minister said his only personal ambition is to serve the country and people.
