Dillons could offer COVID-19 vaccine as soon as next week

Dillons stores will offer rapid antibody tests to determine if individuals have had COVID-19, it was announced Wednesday.
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - With more doses of COVID-19 vaccines in Kansas, there are more places to get the shot. Currently, there are more than 20 Dillons Pharmacies across the state that are vaccinating customers with appointments.
“Our pharmacy and our pharmacy staff are very excited. We look forward to being able to provide this service,” said Dillons Health and Wellness Merchandiser Robert Tomasu.
Dillons received 2,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine in its first shipment from the federal government. Dillons Pharmacies are following county-specific guidelines in determining who is eligible to make an appointment to get the vaccine.
