Diana rejected Oprah’s interview requests, saying she was only after ‘sensationalism’

Princess Diana was pursued by Oprah Winfrey just like her son and daughter-in-law Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were. However, her sense of humour had saved her from dropping bombshells. 
Royal historian Robert Lacey claimed in his updated edition of the book
Battle of Brothers, that the late Princess of Wales “never had much time for” Winfrey.
Lacey said that the broadcaster was determined to bag an exclusive interview with Diana and had even flown all the way to London to get her to agree to it.
