out. it's really an incredible thing to watch. >> what is the verdict? how safe do these people think our election technology is? >> it does not look good, ali. let me show you, they cracked open a common system over here you would uds to register your votes. they make little notes along the way, firm ware update, check this out, they figure out the password. admin password is rogue somehow for this device. i don't know how they figure that out. but they did in under two hours. we were talking to a couple people over here building a lockpick set and basically said it's easier to use the key, turn the key and get it in admin mode, which opens up a whole can of worms. the verdict here is not encouraging. these are really vulnerable systemed to even a very smart room of people but these guys all say this is kids' stuff as far as they can tell. >> what motivates these people? these are hackers who decide they want to hack election
