donald trump ready fire aim again. that's been his approach to doing big foreign policy issues especially. i think if there was something ominous on the books at this moment, we would be hearing or seeing more movement militarily because the pentagon's big place. people do talk. what was so striking to me about this, it was another example of trump administration stepping all over the news of the day. they opened with some pretty good news about the economy and where they wanted to go with it. but at the same time as you say, they talk about the cutbacks for women in getting their reproductive rights in order and what they've come to expect. then the president continuing to say with that smile on his face, "calm before the storm" right up against rex tillerson out there all week long, saying, we're working on a process here. we think we have something going. that got to such a critical stage that tillerson had to come out and say the president is a really smart man. i was quite surprised by this
