that for whatever reason want to keep some sort of a confederate battle flag on that flagpole and, you know i came out early on. i was one of the first two republicans in the house to actually state that we need to remove the flag and put it in the state museum. but there are several amendments to do various things and now that the senate has overwhelmingly, the last two days approved this bill to remove the flag from the state house grounds and send it to the confederate rally down the street here in columbia i think that sends a very strong message to all of us in the house, and i'm looking forward to getting that bill over a little bit later today. i'm sure it will be read across the desk today, and there are some procedural moves that will be made to try to get it on the house floor as quickly as possible. and hopefully we can move this bill forward by the end of the
