morning to sarah schmitt. great to have you with me this morning. >> thanks, thomas. it's great to be here. >> explain to everybody why did you feel the need to launch a super pac now, especially one that is going to be focused on lesbian related issues? >> you know, in the last couple months we've seen women's rights and lesbians' right under attack by just coming at us from every corner. it seemed like we had this critical opportunity to engage now, engage in the process and change some things. >> is this more about feminism or more about lbgt rights or a marriage of the two? >> it's really marriage of the two. lesbian rights are women's rights. we see that connection as critically important. and we want to have our voices heard as policy is defined for this country. >> there will be candidates across the country interested in receiving cash from you.
