good morning. >> winds are at 45 miles per hour and it's about 30 miles south of lafayette. the problem today is that now it is on shore, it's lost its energy and pumping moisture with winds out of the south into louisiana, into mississippi, into alabama. we're going to see a heavy rain concern out ofly and the circulation from lee. we have two things going on. >> is going to be a tango going on. we have this front tracking into the northeast and it's going to bring rain and storms there, independent of what is happening with this tropical storm. however, you've got the remnants of lee by monday that is still down here. you can see it hasn't moved very much at all. moving into mississippi at best. and that moisture is going to combine with the front. so in the southern appalachians, we're going to see heavy rainfall. on the order of two to six inches of rainfall. flooding will be a concern for us. perhaps around virginia, north carolina, right along the tar river where after irene we had
