anonymous person reported a speaker brought to campus by an rso, a registered student organization was offensive to non-u.s. citizens by saying things like america is the greatest country in the world and pull yourself up by your bootstraps. is that something the school should spend time investigating? >> student don't check their first amendment rights at the doors of the university. at the same time this particular lawsuit appears to just be attention getting. they haven't articulated any actual legal basis of infringement upon their rights. the students articulate they feel uncomfortable expressing minority viewpoints such as being pro trump. i do that every day. i have gotten attacked and i've gotten a lot of twitter hate for expressing those views. that's life. it doesn't mean you can sue the university because you feel uncomfortable expressing a certain viewpoint. they have to articulate a specific legal basis how the
