presidency so far, and it comes just in time for the midterms. so is this going to bring about a red wave in november? here now to debate it is democratic political analyst robert patillo and conservative commentator, amanda head. thank you for joining us this morning. >> thank you. >> thanks for having us. heather: let's talk about those approval ratings right now. we can take a look at that, ahead of the midterms, just a couple weeks away. 41% approve of president trump right now, that's compared to 54% who disapprove and then you can see the difference from just a short time ago. so what do you attribute the main thing in terms of his increasing approval ratings. i'll start with you, amanda. >> sure. i think you have to look at this from a momentum perspective. in january, democrats were enjoying a 13 point lead in the general ballot. fast forward to this summer and
