alexandria, virginia. are we closer to learning what the delay is all about? pd. >> it's closer to 1:45 when the recess is supposed to end. but the proceedings were supposed to start 2 1/2 hours ago and they didn't. all that's happened today is the judge warned everybody in the courtroom before the jury even came in, that if they try to look at papers on the counsel tables they will be kicked out. then the jury came in and the judge really emphasized in a way he has not done yet, his daily instructionles that it is really important they do not talk to anybody including other jurors about this case. that it's really important they keep an open mind. and remember, paul manafort is presumed innocent unless the prosecution can prove him guilty of tax and bank fraud. after that, they broke for lunch which wiped out half of a day that the mueller team had been planning to use to rest their case. now it's not clear that they're going to be able to do that. something the mueller team has done, though, for the second day
