in prison right now. i would love to see even one of them come home. we saw that last week. sure, it's a step forward, but i don't want to confuse those two things. i think it's important for us to have a deeper conversation about law, about structure. but if we can get a few people home from meeting with president trump, i think that's our duty. >> michael jacobs was not protesting as someone in jail necessarily, he's been protesting police retaliation and injustice. you can't fix that with a pardon. >> no, what i would prefer to see is him saying, in privatization of prisons, let's continue to get rid of pretrial bail. 80% of people are there because they don't have the money to be at home. these are things we can fix. >> no question, but if some of these players get an audience with him, they can impress that upon him. that does tend to have, in one on one or in h-person sessions,t does tend to have an impression.
