since the deep water horizon tragedy. tomorrow will mark one year sthans rig blew up, a year since 11 men died. a year since the world watched 200 million gallons of oil pour into the ocean and people saw their lives change overnight. they lost customers, money, their businesses suffered. they suffered, too. the way of life was threatened. a lot of people made promises to fix things, to clean up the beaches and the bayous, to make lives whole and to make sure nothing like this happens again. so tonight we're taking a look at how well bp, regulators, legislators and others have lived up to their promises. a year ago, with oil in the marshes and the beaches, bp's ceo tony hayward said "we will make this right" and so did his lieutenant, doug suttles. >> we won't quit until we get this job done, i can promise you that. >> so did the federal government.
