but the streets have been plowed and plowed over again. this is about as bad as gets here if brooke hin. the day after christmas, many of the streets were not touched for a good two, three days. so for the citizens of new york, a big relief. the snowstorm this time around wasn't nearly as bad, but the response clearly has been very, very quick. >> reporter: and i'm in atlanta, georgia after getting crushed by a snow and ice storm, a little bit of melting yesterday followed by another cold snap behind that blizzard today. the mayor had to call in reinforcements. the snow removal army went from about ten vehicles to 50 and this road, peach tree, one of the busiest, moving now because they dropped some salt and sand down and the sun coming out a little bit. but it's still cold and windy, windchills in the teens. and this road which is 11th, you can see a tough go up there. pretty icy, still.
